Safety, privacy and branding for glass
Glass partitions, doors and floor to ceiling glazing need to be seen. We design and fit manifestation that keeps people safe, gives the right level of privacy and makes the glass part of the interior.
Glass manifestation is the film applied to glazing so that people can see it is there. In offices and commercial buildings it usually does three things at once: markings that stop people walking into the glass, frosted bands that screen meeting rooms, and logos or patterns that carry the brand through the space.
It is one of the biggest parts of our work. We fit manifestation on everything from a single glass door to long runs of partitioning across whole floors, working directly with clients and alongside office fit out and partitioning companies.
A safety requirement does not have to look plain. With the right materials and a properly planned layout, manifestation can be one of the best looking details in the building.
Options
Most projects use one or more of these. For manifestation work we can bring physical film samples, so you can see the finishes against your own glass before you decide.
Frosted or tinted bands that screen meeting rooms and offices while keeping the space light.
A classic, clean way to mark glass. Discreet and well suited to long runs of partitioning.
A crisp geometric alternative to dots that suits modern interiors.
Single or double lines and slim bands for a minimal, architectural look.
Patterns drawn for your space, from graduated designs to shapes that reflect your brand or building.
Your logo cut or printed into the manifestation, so the glass carries the brand.
Larger artwork and printed graphics that turn a glass wall into a feature.
Film that gives the look of reeded or fluted glass, adding texture and privacy without replacing the glazing.

A drawn sketch, not a proof. We bring real film samples to site.
Glass manifestation & compliance
Floor to ceiling glazing, glass doors and glass partitions can be hard to see, particularly in busy or brightly lit spaces. Where people could walk into the glass or mistake it for an opening, it can require visible manifestation markings, and those markings must meet the relevant requirements.
This matters for everyone who uses the building, and it is something building owners, facilities teams and fit out contractors need to get right. We can look at your glazing, explain what is needed and design manifestation that works properly and looks good.
Based on Approved Document K (2013 edition) to the Building Regulations 2010, which applies in England and does not cover dwellings. This is general information: we will confirm what is needed for your building when we survey the glazing.
